Ratusan massa yang tergabung dalam Aliansi Aktivis Sumatera Selatan menggelar aksi unjuk rasa di Markas Kepolisian Daerah (Mapolda) Sumatera Selatan pada Rabu, 26 Februari 2025.
Aksi ini digelar sebagai bentuk tuntutan terhadap profesionalisme dan transparansi penegakan hukum di Sumatera Selatan, terutama dalam penanganan laporan masyarakat yang dinilai lamban dan tebang pilih.
Aksi ini melibatkan 12 organisasi kemasyarakatan (ormas) yang tergabung dalam aliansi tersebut. Mereka menilai bahwa kepolisian masih belum sepenuhnya bertindak adil dalam menangani kasus-kasus yang berkaitan dengan kepentingan besar, sementara laporan masyarakat kerap diabaikan atau diproses dengan sangat lambat.
Para aktivis menyoroti ketimpangan dalam sistem hukum yang seharusnya berpihak pada keadilan.
Mereka menegaskan bahwa jika ketidakadilan ini terus terjadi, kepercayaan publik terhadap kepolisian akan semakin runtuh.
Aliansi Aktivis Sumsel berharap aksi ini menjadi peringatan bagi aparat hukum agar lebih responsif terhadap pengaduan masyarakat.
Aksi unjuk rasa ini akan dimulai pada pukul 09.00 WIB, dengan titik kumpul di depan Mapolda Sumsel.
Massa menyampaikan tuntutan mereka secara damai dan meminta audiensi langsung dengan Kapolda Sumatera Selatan guna mendapatkan kepastian atas laporan-laporan yang selama ini belum mendapatkan kepastian hukum.
Aliansi Aktivis Sumsel juga mengajak seluruh elemen masyarakat untuk ikut mengawasi jalannya aksi ini agar tetap berjalan damai dan kondusif. Mereka berharap pihak kepolisian terbuka untuk berdialog dan memberikan solusi nyata atas berbagai laporan masyarakat yang dinilai belum diproses secara adil.
Massa aksi menegaskan bahwa keadilan tidak boleh menjadi ilusi, tetapi harus nyata dan bisa dirasakan oleh semua lapisan masyarakat. Mereka berharap tuntutan ini menjadi momentum bagi kepolisian untuk membangun kembali kepercayaan publik melalui penegakan hukum yang adil dan transparan.
