Kendari—Peran aktif TNI khususnya Kodim 1417/Kendari, dan seluruh Instansi terkait bahu membahu dan bekerjasama demi memutus mata rantai penyebaran Covid- 19, penerapan protokoler pencegahan covid – 19 pun sudah berlangsung sejak awal mewabahnya virus corona seperti sosial distancing, physical distancing, penyemprotan disinfektan sarana umum dan pembagian masker.
Berbagai himbauan dan penerapan sosial distancing pemerintah guna memutus mata rantai penyebaran lebih luas covid – 19 terkadang terkesan di sepelekan dan tidak dianggap serius, seperti halnya penggunaan masker.
Menurut Komandan Kodim 1417/Kendari, Kol Inf Drs Alamsyah M.Si, penggunaan masker di tengah pandemi covid – 19 merupakan kebutuhan yang sangat pokok dan setiap orang wajib memakainya ketika keluar dari rumah.
“Dengan menggunakan masker kami melindungi anda, Anda melindungi kami,” ungkap Alamsyah.
Hal ini di kemukakan saat pendistribusian sembako dalam rangka HUT Kota Kendari ke – 189, bersama walikota Kendari Sulkarnain di Kelurahan Korumba Jalan Tebaununggu kota Kendari Sulawesi Tenggara, Rabu (13/5/2020).
“Ada beberapa warga yang kami jumpai diluar lorong tidak menggunakan masker, sehingga babinsa kodim 1417/Kendari saya perintahkan ambil masker dan susuri lorong sampai kepelosok Korumba mengecek dan membagikannya ke warga setempat,” katanya.
Masih adanya warga serta rendahnya kepeduliaan terhadap upaya pencegahan personal dari penyebaran covid – 19, menghambat pemerintah untuk memutus mata rantai covid – 19.
Mudah – mudahan setelah di berikan sosialisasi oleh babinsa tentang manfaat penggunaan masker timbul kepedulian warga tersebut,” pungkas Dandim.
