DUMAI – Pencatutan nama pemerintah bahkan penipuan dengan mengatasnamakan Pemerintah kian banyak dilakukan oleh oknum tidak bertanggungjawab. Bahkan Pemerintah Kota Dumai tidak luput dari hal tersebut, sehingga dirasa perlu untuk disampaikan beberapa hal kepada masyarakat.
Dalam hal ini, Pemerintah Kota Dumai melalui Diskominfo menghimbau kepada seluruh masyarakat dan ASN Kota Dumai untuk waspada dan tidak mempercayai oknum-oknum yang menghubungi via telepon atau whatsapp mengatasnamakan Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Dumai yang meminta sejumlah uang ataupun barang terkait proyek, mutasi ASN dilingkungan Pemko Dumai, dan lain sebagainya.
Pada kesempatan ini, Kepala Bidang Informasi dan Komunikasi Publik (IKP) Diskominfo Dumai Muhammad Saddam, S.STP, M.IP menyampaikan, agar seluruh masyarakat lebih berhati-hati dan waspada terhadap segala bentuk penipuan yang mengatasnamakan Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota.
“Jangan percaya, Bapak Wali Kota H. Paisal dan Bapak Wakil Wali Kota Amris tidak pernah memerintahkan ajudan atau siapapun dengan menjanjikan sesuatu, kemudian meminta bantuan baik itu dalam bentuk barang maupun uang,” tegasnya M. Saddam, Senin (05/04/2021).
Dirinya minta kepada seluruh masyarakat untuk menyebarluaskan informasi ini agar terhindar dari penipuan oknum yang tidak bertanggungjawab. Apabila terindikasi sebagai korban penipuan, masyarakat dihimbau untuk melaporkannya kepada pihak yang berwenang.
