Selidikkasus.com ||Medan – Sumut-Empat orang mahasiswa dari UINSU (Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara) menggelar demo di depan kantor Pertamina MOR 1 di Jalan Putri Hijau, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara, Rabu (6/5/2020)
Dalam demo itu, mereka menyampaikan kritikan kepada Pertamina yang tak kunjung menurunkan harga BBM. Padahal harga minyak dunia sudah turun.
Selain itu, empat mahasiswa itu juga hendak memberikan sumbangan uang kepada Pertamina sebagai bentuk sindiran.
Polisi yang berjaga di sekitar lokasi sempat memberikan pemahaman kepada mereka untuk membubarkan diri. Sebab demo dilarang selama pandemi virus corona. Namun para mahasiswa tidak mengindahkannya imbauan itu. Polisi akhirnya bertindak dan membubarkan demo tersebut. Sementara empat mahasiswa itu dibawa ke mobil Sabhara Polrestabes Medan.
“Kami sudah mengimbau secara persuasif dan kemarin sudah melakukan penggalangan tapi masih melaksanakan tindakan unjuk rasa, untuk itu mereka kami bawa ke Polrestabes Medan,” kata Kapolsek Medan Barat, Kompol Afdal Junaidi. Afdal menegaskan, pembubaran demo sudah sesuai dengan Maklumat Polri untuk mematuhi protokol kesehatan selama pandemi virus corona.
Sejauh ini, pihaknya belum bisa menyampaikan tindakan yang akan diberikan kepada empat mahasiswa UINSU itu. “Kita lihat dulu dari penyelidikan dan penyidikan, kita ambil keterangan dari yang bersangkutan, hasilnya kami sampaikan dan kami akan cek asal kampusnya,” tuturnya.
