KENDARI – Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Sulawesi Tenggara (Sultra), tegas menolak kedatangan 500 Tenaga Kerja Asing (TKA), secara bergelombang dalam waktu dekat.
Menurut Ketua DPRD Sultra, Abdurrahman Saleh, penolakan kedatangan TKA Tiongkok ini, tegas ditolak karena masyarakat Sultra tengah menghadapi Covid-19. Dia mengultimatum pemerintah pusat, jika ini dipaksakan, Abdurrahman Saleh akan memimpin demostrasi.
Kalau ini tetap dipaksakan datang, intelejen kita bisa mengawasi kapan datangnya. Saya akan memimpin langsung demonstrasi, semoga ini bisa menjadi sejarah, ini bisa dikenang sampai 2024. tegas Abdurrahman Saleh.
Menurut Abdurrahman, harusnya ribuan TKA yang ada di Morosi, Konawe, bisa menularkan ilmu pengetahuan kepada pekerja lokal sehingga kebutuhan TKA di Morosi bisa dipangkas hingga 50 persen.
Supaya kita bukan menjadi budak dan kuli di negeri sendiri,kata Abdurrahman Saleh.
Di tempat yang sama, Anggota Fraksi Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) Muhammad Poli menilai, rencana ini hal lucu, karena saat ini di tengah wabah Covid-19, banyak tenaga kerja lokal di Sultra yahg dirumahkan, akan tetapi pemerintah pusat berencana mendatangkan TKA dari China.
Apabila tetap berkeras mendatangkan 500 TKA tersebut, fraksi PKS akan mengajak fraksi PKS yang ada di DRPD Kota Kendari, DPRD Kabupaten Konawe dan DRPD Kabupaten Konawe Selatan (Konsel) untuk turun langsung demonstrasi di Bandara Haluoleo Kendari,kata Poli
Sementara, Wakil Ketua DPRD Sultra, Muhammad Endang, mempertanyakan alasan masuknya 500 TKA, apakah memiliki keahlian. Ketika 500 TKA ini tidak datang, apakah perusahaan VDNI tidak beroperasi.
Politikus Partai Demokrat ini juga menyinggung transparansi jumlah TKA di Kecamatan Morosi, Kabupaten Konawe. Sebab data Dinas Ketenagakerjaan hanya 25 orang TKA China.
Sementara fakta, kebenaran dari Bupati Konawe di atas seribuan TKA yang bekerja di Morosi. Perusahaan ini tidak transparan, tidak pernah jujur mengenai pengelolaan tenaga kerjanya. TKA yang datang ini, jangan kayak 49 orang pakai visa kunjungan, kata Endang
