Jakarta – Apresiasi yang tinggi kepada Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) RI terkait penangkapan 2 (dua) oknum Jaksa yang telah melakukan tindakan tercela yaitu menyalahgunakan kewenangan.
Dalam hal ini, Jaksa Agung secara tegas menyampaikan kepada jajaran bahwa kegiatan ini sangat baik untuk bersih-bersih internal Kejaksaan. Bahkan dalam setiap kesempatan, Jaksa Agung juga sering menyampaikan kepada masyarakat dan media apabila ditemukan oknum yang masih berbuat penyelewengan dan menceradai masyarakat akan ditindak secara tegas.
Oleh sebab itu, kedua oknum Jaksa yang telah melakukan perbuatan tercela sudah tidak lagi dibutuhkan di Kejaksaan, sehingga penindakan terhadap kedua oknum Jaksa di Bondowoso tersebut memang sudah sepantasnya.
Jaksa Agung tidak segan-segan untuk memproses pidana, sebagaimana yang kami lakukan kepada seorang oknum Kejari Buleleng yang saat ini dalam proses penahanan dan penyidikan oleh Tim Penyidik Jaksa Agung Muda Bidang Tindak Pidana Khusus (JAM PIDSUS).
“Tidak mungkin kami bertindak tegas dan keras terhadap pihak luar, bila di internal kami masih ada oknum yang melakukan tindakan yang mencoreng dan mencederai nama baik Institusi. Terhadap oknum tersebut, harus disikat habis karena tidak ada tempat lagi bagi mereka untuk bernaung di Institusi Kejaksaan,” ujar Jaksa Agung.
Kejaksaan RI membutuhkan Jaksa-Jaksa yang tidak hanya berkualitas, tetapi juga memiliki integritas. Ke depan akan berjalan seleksi alam apabila secara konsisten Kejaksaan melakukan pembenahan.
Dengan demikian, Insan Adhyaksa terbaik yang berdedikasi, berintegritas dan memiliki komitmen yang akan bertahan di lingkungan Kejaksaan. Hal tersebutlah yang sesuai dengan harapan dan imbauan Jaksa Agung ST Burhanuddin di berbagai kesempatan.
“Saya tidak membutuhkan Jaksa yang pintar tetapi tidak bermoral. Saya juga tidak butuh Jaksa yang cerdas tapi tidak berintegritas, yang saya butuhkan adalah Jaksa-Jaksa yang pintar dan berintegritas,” imbuh Jaksa Agung.
