Pesawaran, Lampung – Di hari ketiga pelaksanaan festival kuda lumping dalam rangka peringatan HUT ke-16 Persatuan Pewarta Warga Indonesia di Kabupaten Pesawaran, DPC PPWI Pesawaran tampilkan dua grup kesenian kuda lumping. Grup pertama adalah Kesenian Kuda Lumping Laras Hati Way Layap dari Desa Kebagusan. Sementara grup kedua adalah kelompok Kesenian Kuda Lumping Mendung Seto Umbul Rejo dari Kecamatan Way Ratai.
Dari pantauan media di lokasi acara, festival ini dipadati para penonton dan pecinta kuda lumping, meski kondisi cuaca cukup panas oleh teriknya mata hari. Festival itu berlangsung di lapangan milik Desa Sukadadi Kecamatan Gedong Tataan Kecamatan Pesawaran, Rabu, 15 November 2023.
DPC PPWI Pesawaran menyelenggarakan festival kuda lumping selama 5 hari guna memeriahkan Bukan Bakti Pewarta Warga PPWI tahun 2023. Bulan bakti ini dirangkaikan dengan peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) ke-16 organisasi yang dipimpin oleh Ketua Umumnya, Wilson Lalengke, S.Pd, M.Sc, MA.
Kegiatan DPC PPWI Pesawaran sudah dibuka dari tanggal 11 November 2023, hari Sabtu kemarin, yang merupakan tanggal sacral bagi PPWI sebagai HUT-nya di tanggal tersebut. Kegiatan ini akan berlangsung hingga Sabtu, 18 November 2023 mendatang.
Pada hari puncak acara sekaligus penutupan rangkaian kegiatan, DPC PPWI Pesawaran akan memberikan dana pembinaan untuk grup kesenian yang dinilai bagus dan layak untuk mendapatkannya. Selain itu, Pengurus DPC PPWI Pesawaran juga akan memberikan santunan bagi kaum dhuafa, anak yatim dan beri penghargaan untuk veteran perang.
Di sela-sela acara Ketua DPC PPWI Pesawaran, Ngatijo, menjelaskan kepada media bahwa dirinya bangga terhadap antusiasme masyarakat terhadap kesenian yang ditampilkan dalam festival ini. “Syukur alhamdulillah kita sudah memasuki hari ketiga festival kuda lumping, dalam rangka memeriahkan Bulan Bakti PPWI yang ke-16, saya sangat bangga melihat antusias dari penonton dan pecinta kuda kepang ini sendiri,” ucapnya.
Selanjutnya, jurnalis yang berkiprah di Media KPK itu menyampaikan terima kasihnya kepada semua pihak yang telah mendukung acara tersebut. “Saya selaku Ketua DPC PPWI Pesawaran mengucapkan banyak-banyak terima kasih kepada para donatur dan pendukung acara ini, tanpa ada dukungan dari masyarakat dan para donatur, acara ini tidak mungkin bisa terlaksana,” jelasnya.
Di tempat yang sama, Ketua Panitia kegiatan, Fauzi, menjelaskan bahwa kegiatan ini masih akan berlangsung hingga 18 November 2023 depan. Para perserta festival beradu kebolehan mereka masing-masing dalam menampilkan atraksi kuda lumping terbaiknya. Pengumuman pemenang akan diumumkan pada hari terakhir kegiatan ini.
“Memang benar pada acara puncak nanti kami akan berikan suatu penghargaan seperti dana pembinaan untuk grup kesenian kuda lumping yang kami nilai bagus dan memang layak untuk mendapatkan uang pembinaan tersebut,” terang Fauzi.
Ketua Umum PPWI, Wilson Lalengke, sangat mengapresiasi kegiatan yang dilaksanakan para pengurus PPWI di daerah-daerah. Menurutnya, bulan bakti pewarta warga tahun 2023 yang dimulai dari tanggal 1 November dan akan berakhir pada 30 November 2023 mendatang menjadi momen penting untuk menumbuhkan aktivitas dan kreativitas di kalangan masyarakat di segala bidang kehidupan.
“Seperti halnya yang dilaksanakan oleh DPC PPWI Pesawaran, Lampung, saya sangat mengapresiasi inisiatif mereka menggalang dukungan dari berbagai pihak dan menyelenggarakan kegiatan festifal seni kuda lumping. Rekan-rekan PPWI di daerah lainnya juga sedang dan sudah melaksanakan kegiatannya dalam rangka mengisi bulan bakti pewarta warga PPWI tahun 2023 ini,” ungkap alumni PPRA-48 Lemhannas RI tahun 2012 itu.
Di tingkat nasional, sambung dia, DPN PPWI menyelenggarakan program kunjungan benchmark wartawan pariwisata ke Jepang, diklat jurnalistik online bagi anggota PPWI dan masyarakat umum, dan melaksanakan sertifikasi kompetensi wartawan. (TIM/Red)
