CILACAP, selidikkasus.com – Jelang peringatan Hari Juang TNI AD Tahun 2021, Kodim 0703/Cilacap menggelar ziarah dan tabur bunga di Taman Makam Pahlawan (TMP) Surengrono, Desa Tritih Lor, Kecamatan Jeruklegi, Kabupaten Cilacap, Selasa (14/12/2021).
Komandan Kodim 0703/Cilacap, Letkol Inf Andi Afandi mengatakan, kegiatan ini dilakukan sebagai wujud penghormatan kepada arwah pahlawan yang telah gugur memperjuangkan kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia.
“Para pendahulu kita telah berjuang memperjuangkan kemerdekaan RI tanpa pamrih. Dan tugas kita saat ini adalah berempati, meneruskan perjuangan para pahlawan yang telah gugur mendahului kita,” tegasnya. Lebih lanjut, dikatakan Dandim, ini merupakan rangkaian kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh Kodim 0703/Cilacap dan jajaran setelah sebelumnya menggelar kegiatan bakti sosial donor darah, vaksinasi dan kegiatan lainnya.
Dalam kesempatannya, Dandim juga menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada seluruh Perwira dan jajaran yang telah melaksanakan rangkaian kegiatan Kodim 0703/Cilacap dalam rangka peringati Hari Juang TNI AD dengan penuh tanggung jawab.
“Jadi pesan moralnya adalah kita harus berempati, salah satunya dengan cara mempersiapkan tempat dan kegiatan ziarah dan tabur bunga ini dengan baik,” ujar Dandim.
Kegiatan diawali dengan penghormatan, disusul hening cipta untuk mendoakan para arwah pahlawan, kemudian dilanjutkan peletakan karangan bunga kehormatan di Tugu Makam Pahlawan dan tabur bunga.(Nik)
