Polri: Masyarakat Jangan Langsung Percaya Informasi Kejahatan Yang Beredar Di Medsos
Rabu, 22 April 2020 -Jakarta – Karopenmas Divisi Humas Polri, Brigjen Argo Yuwono mengimbau kepada masyarakat untuk tidak langsung percaya terhadap informasi tindak kejahatan yang beredar di media sosial, sebelum dipastikan kebenarannya. Begitu yang disampaikan oleh Karopenmas Divisi Humas Polri, Brigjen Pol Argo Yuwono,
Dalam FGD dengan tema “Strategi Pelibatan Masyarakat Sebagai Solusi Dalam Menangkal Ancaman Kamtibmas Dimasa Pandemik Covid-19” melalui live streaming, Rabu (22/4).
“Masyarakat untuk tidak percaya pemberitaan berkaitan dengan kejahatan di medsos yang belum dipastikan kebenarannya,” kata Brigjen Pol Argo.
Brigjen Pol Argo mencontohkan sebuah video viral di media sosial yang memperlihatkan dua orang wanita. Satu orang tegeletak di pinggir jalan dan satu lagi tengah ditolong oleh pengendara lain. Lalu narasi yang beredar kedua wanita tersebut adalah korban pembegalan. Namun faktanya, mereka adalah korban kecelakaan.
“Untuk itu kami meminta masyarakat jangan gampang percaya dengan video dan narasi yang beredar dan ikut menyebarkannya, harus dicek dulu,” tekan Brigjen Pol Argo.
Brigjen Pol Argo menambahkan, sejauh ini Polri telah mengamankan 28 narapidana yang kembali melakukan kejahatan usai dibebaskan memlalui program asimilasi. Puluhan napi yang kembali berulah itu tersebar di seluruh wilayah di Indonesia.
Mereka melakukan aksi kejahatan seperti pencurian kendaraan bermotor hingga pelecehan seksual. Ada pun daftar narapidana yang kembali berulah itu tersebar di beberapa Polda. Di antaranya di Polda Jawa Tengah 8 napi dengan kasus curanmor, curat, curas, dan pelecehan seksual Kemudian,
Polda Kalimantan Barat 3 napi kasus curanmor. Polda Jawa Timur 2 napi kasus curanmor. Polda Banten 1 napi kasus pencurian. Polda Kalimantan Timur 2 napi kasus pencurian dan penipuan. Polda Metro Jaya 1 napi kasus curas. Lalu Polda Kalimantan Selatan 2 napi kasus pencurian dan curat. Polda Kaltara 3 napi kasus pencurian. Polda Sulteng 1 napi kasus pencurian. Polda NTT 1 napi kasus penganiayaan, dan Polda Sumut 4 napi kasus curat dan pencurian. Ungkapnya
