Meranti, – ‘Wakil Bupati Kepulauan Meranti H. Said Hasyim memimpin rapat koordinasi dan dialog bersama masyarakat Komunitas Adat Terpencil (KAT), kegiatan dalam rangka mendengar masukan dan usulan dari masyarakat KAT terkait kebutuhan masyarakat didaerah terpencil itu, digelar diaula Kantor Bupati Meranti, Senin (23/3/2020).
Turut hadir bersama Wabup Meranti, Kepala Dinas PU Meranti H. Herman, Kepala Dinas Sosial Agusyanto SE M.Si, Kabag Kesra Meranti Hery Saputra SH, Camat Tebing Tinggi Barat Saiful Ikram SAg MM, Sekretaris Dinas Kependudukan Meranti Drs. Ramdan dan puluhan warga KAT Perwakilan Kecamatan Se-Kabupaten Meranti.
Dari pantauan media, dalam pertemuan itu, Wakil Bupati Meranti H. Said Hasyim meminta masukan dan usulan dari masyarakat terkait permasalahan yang dihadapi mulai dari kebutuhan dasar rumah layak huni, instalasi listrik, air bersih hingga pengurusan administrasi kependudukan KTP/KK, serta pendidikan, layanan kesehatan dan lainnya.
Kepada Wakil Bupati masyarakat mengeluhkan beberapa masalah seputar kebutuhan rumah layak huni sekaligus mengusulkan kepada Pemda untuk memberikan bantuan sesuai dengan jumlah masyarakat yang ada diwilayah KAT. Kemudian yang menjadi perhatian adalah masalah pengurusan KTP dan KK yang cukup sulit dilakukan masyarakat yany berada diwilayah KAT.
Khusus dalam pengurusan hak-hak penduduk memperoleh KTP dan KK, Wakil Bupati mengintruksikan kepada Dinas Disdukcapil dapat memberikan perhatian khusus dalam rangka membantu masyarakat yang serba keterbatasan tersebut. Ia berhadap dengan pro aktifnya Disdukcapil semua masyarakat KAT dapat memiliki KTP dan KK sehingga semua hak-hak warga negara dapat dimanfaatkan masyarakat.
Selanjutnya masyarakat KAT juga mengusulkan untuk pembangunan Instalasi listrik hingga kerumah-rumah warga karena dari pengakuan salah seorang warga masih banyak rumah-rumah masyarakat yang belum teraliri listrik meskipun tiangnya sudah tersedia.
Dan yang tak kalah penting adalah masalah pembangunan lokal jauh yang cukup representatif untuk menjawab pendidikan anak-anak diwilayah KAT serta Fasilitas BPJS untuk layanan kesehatan.
Menyikapi berbagai permasalah itu, Wabup Said Hasyim langsung mengintruksikan kepada Dinas PU dan Bagian Ekonomi Sekdakab. Meranti untuk berkoordinasi dengan pihak PLN yang bertanggungjawab dalam urusan Elektrifikasi.
Lebih jauh dikatakan Wabup melalui Kadis PU Meranti H. Herman, tahun ini Pemda Meranti akan melakukan pembangunan dan rehap rumah layak huni sebanyak 100 unit yang diperuntukan untuk masyarakat kurang mampu termasuk KAT yang berasal dari dana pusat. Siapa saja yang akan menerima bantuan itu dikatakan Kadis PU, pihaknya akan melakukan pendataan untuk menetapkan KK penerima bantuan.
Selain rumah layak huni Dinas PU Meranti juga akan membangun Pamsimas atau sumur Bor untuk melayani kebutuhan air bersih masyarakat KAT.
Sekedar informasi dalam pertemuan itu, semua masukan dan usulan dari masyarakat KAT telah dicatat oleh Pemkab. Meranti melalui Dinas terkait untuk ditindaklanjuti secepatnya sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. (M.Khosir/wrdls)
